Shelter and stability we deliver

Single and Multi-Family Homes

Single and multi-family homes offer a calmer home-like setting, ideal for veterans who are transitioning from homelessness or inpatient care. These are built to suit program provider and veteran needs. This model promotes a structured but private environment, and veterans can benefit from peer support in a small-group setting. These homes typically accommodate 6-8 veterans, with shared bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces. The intimate atmosphere helps build trust, accountability, and community during recovery and reintegration. Single and multi-family homes allow us to house more veterans in a faster, more cost-effective, scalable way. Each unit functions like a self-contained home, while still being part of a supportive community.

When you support the Martin Escalante Foundation, you’re forming a partnership in our mission to provide safe, dignified transitional housing for U.S. veterans. Together, we are opening doors to stability, healing, and providing opportunity for those who served our country.  Your support helps us provide fully furnished single and multi-family homes for veteran use. Through partnerships with the VA and local agencies we are able to provide safe, stable housing and furnish and maintain comfortable living environments, while delivering onsite services including job training, mental health care, and substance recovery programs. Transitional housing bridges the gap between emergency shelter and permanent, independent living.

EMERGENCY HOUSING

Emergency Housing is designed to provide immediate, short-term shelter for veterans in crisis—whether they’re facing homelessness, fleeing unsafe living conditions, or transitioning out of institutions like hospitals or incarceration.

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

Transitional Housing serves as a bridge between homelessness and permanent stability for veterans adjusting to life after military service. Whether they’re recovering from trauma, exiting emergency shelters, or rebuilding after personal hardships, we provide the environment and resources they need to heal and thrive.

permanent supportive HOUSING

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) provides long-term, stable, and affordable housing for veterans who need ongoing support to maintain independence—especially those facing chronic homelessness, disabilities, or complex health needs.
